LaSalle Plaza to add Parcelle Organics location

First-floor cafe expected to open in April 2026
Minneapolis, MN - (Nov. 18th, 2025) LaSalle Plaza, a 650,000 sq. ft. Class A office building at the intersection of 9th and LaSalle Ave, has landed the next location of Parcelle Organics, an organic café concept founded by Kamal Mohamed.
The 2,700 sq. ft. ground-floor space, formerly occupied by a credit union, will be fully renovated and is expected to open in April. Parcelle joins a line-up of three existing fast-casual restaurants – Grey Fox Coffee, BEP, and Green & the Grain and full-service restaurants Capital Grille and Crave as the food options within LaSalle Plaza.
Parcelle is a clean-eating cafe offering a vibrant menu of organic breakfast and lunch options,
featuring signature smoothies made with clean protein, breakfast burritos, macro-bowls, panini sandwiches, and seasonal salads, alongside quality beverage options. Parcelle is committed to providing the highest-quality organic meals, free of pesticides and herbicides. The café proudly crafts a wide range of items in-house - from breads to pastries and tortillas - using only organic ingredients and healthy oils like olive and avocado oil, ensuring no preservatives or seed oils are used. The new Parcelle location in LaSalle Plaza will have ample seating and gathering spaces for work and casual meetings.
Parcelle’s original location opened in January 2024 in Northeast Minneapolis. Owner Kamal Mohamed is known for his diverse portfolio of restaurants and entrepreneurial spirit. Merrie Sjogren from Assembly Minnesota represented Parcelle in the deal.

Hempel Real Estate invested nearly $14 million in LaSalle Plaza to remake the fourth floor into The LaSalle Club, modernize the elevators and HVAC systems, renovate and restructure the lobby, add five spec suites, and renovate the fitness center to include an indoor pickleball court as well as a sauna and cold plunge. LaSalle also offers the only complimentary executive car service available to tenants for trips throughout downtown, including North Loop destinations, on weekdays.
